05.29.2026 6th & 7th Grade EOY Fun-Day Celebration- Info & Permission Form

Dear Greene 6th & 7th Grade Parents/Guardians, 

As we enter into the fourth quarter, we are preparing for our end of year celebrations and activities.  Sixth and Seventh Grade Greene students have an opportunity to participate in our end of year “Fun-Day” celebration. Please read below for more information and review this information with your child.  A permission form is included with this post.

 

EVENT INFORMATION:

The Grade 6 & 7 End of Year Celebration Event will take place on the Greene campus on Friday, May 29th. Students will follow a special celebration day schedule. Students will be dismissed at 1:45pm per our usual Friday bell schedule dismissal time. To participate in this event, students MUST have a completed permission form submitted by a parent or guardian through ParentSquare no later than 11:59pm on Sunday, May 10th. NO LATE FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED.  Additionally, activity waivers will need to be completed for participation in certain activities.

On the day of the event, students should bring sunscreen as activities will take place outdoors. Students may also bring a towel, change of clothes, hat, sunglasses and sandals or shoes. As this is a school activity, school expectations for student behavior apply as outlined in the Greene MS handbook. Regular brunch and lunch food services will be available. Students may pick-up a brunch from the snack bar prior to the 8:30am bell, or bring their own brunch/lunch time snack/meal.  Lunch will be available for all students.

This year, the cost of the 6th & 7th grade End of Year Celebration is sponsored by the Greene PTA.  The PTA will be covering the cost of this event (including rental fees for equipment)  If you would like to make a donation, please reach out to the Greene PTA through this link: https://www.parentsquare.com/feeds/54300265 

 

IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The student must be present at school on the day of the event, and WILL NOT be eligible to participate in the Celebration if they:

  • (1) Have outstanding items to return to the library and/or technology office as of May 22nd

  • (2) Are placed on the non-participant list due to any behavioral referral(s) and/or suspension(s) after April 13th

  • (3) Accumulate 15 or more unexcused tardies after April 13th

Additional waiver information is published on the attached permission form.  To participate in activities, students MUST have the WAIVER portions completed and approved on the ParentSquare permission form no later than 11:59pm on Sunday, May 10th.
