Principal Communication 9/9/20
Hello School Families!
Progress reports will be available next week. All students and parents will be notified about students’ standing in their current courses. Progress reports are designed as a mid-quarter check-in to provide feedback. If you have any questions regarding your student’s progress report, please reach out to their teachers for more information, or check their Schoology account.
Last week, Superintendent Austin shared pertinent information regarding district programs and the potential dates and opportunities for re-opening PAUSD. Please read more information here: Superintendent's September 4th Update
Greene Library Plan Changes:
Important update about curbside library book pickup:
Due to unforeseen circumstances, beginning next week we will be making some changes to our previously published curbside pickup plan.
Starting next week books will be pulled on Thursday morning, and notices will go out via Schoology on Thursday afternoon. This means that students can continue requesting books through the library catalog at https://gre.opals.pausd.org until Wednesday evening. Requested books will be available for pickup on Friday morning, at the following times:
- 6th grade - 8:00-8:30am
- 7th grade - 8:30-9:00am
- 8th grade - 9:00-9:30am
If for any reason you are unable to come to campus to pick up books at your assigned time, please let me know by email at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible so that we can arrange home delivery.
Thank you for your understanding as we work through these unusual circumstances! Know that we are committed to continuing to provide access to books to your students, and that these plans may need to shift again in the future as circumstances change.
We are sensitive to the fact that families may be inundated with information coming from the school sites and district. In order to focus on the most pertinent information, we will be sending our next community message after the PAUSD Board meeting (9/22) on September 23 with any district updates.
Take good care,
Dr. Valerie Royaltey-Quandt
