Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge - Carl Sagan, Astronomer

After a one-year break, the annual Science Fair returns to Greene Middle School this fall! Please encourage your student to participate!

The Science Fair is an exciting event for students in Grades 6-8 to explore science topics of interest and share their research findings with our community. Students may do traditional science experiments, with the possibility of later competing in regional science fairs and beyond, or less traditional projects, such as literacy or art forms designed to educate about a science topic, or technical creations that demonstrate engineering concepts or design thinking. Both individual and team projects are welcome. Our Fair is not a competition, but interested students can proceed to regional, judged science competitions if they want.

Come to a parent and student Info Night, 7.00 pm, Wednesday September 12th, in the MPR, to find out more.
