What is Challenge Day?
- A one-day interactive program where students, staff, and community members come together to break down barriers and create connections
- Using highly interactive and energetic activities, Challenge Day Leaders guide participants through an exploration of the ways and reasons people separate from each other, and model tools for creating connection and building community.
- Each Challenge Day consists of approximately 100 students and 25 adults (staff, parents, community volunteers) led by 2 professional facilitators. More information is included in the letter/permission form linked below.
Volunteers must be available for the full day program, from 7.45 am-3.20 pm (includes brief meetings with facilitators before and after the student program). Please contact Magdalena Fittoria, Assistant Principal, 7th grade administrator (mfittoria@pausd.org) to indicate your interest
Student Permission Forms are due back to Advisory Teachers by September 19, 2018
