The Science Fair is an exciting event for students in Grades 6-8 to explore science topics of interest and share their research findings with our community. Projects can be but not limited to science experiments, technical creations or literary/art forms designed to educate about a science topic. Both individual and team projects are welcome. The Fair is not a competition, but interested students can proceed to regional, judged science competitions if desired. Please encourage your student to participate.
Additionally, Super Science Friday, a series of fun science presentations, will run in room N6 each Friday during lunch break 9/13 through 11/8. The event is sponsored by Greene Science Department and the Greene PTA.
Students with questions or who need assistance can contact their science teacher or the teacher organizers, Ms. Jennifer Pequegnat or Mr. Erland Patterson. Parent volunteers are needed to evaluate science projects, seek raffle prize sponsors and identify local organizations to display at the Expo. If you have questions or would like to help, please contact any of the parent organizers.
