2022: A Great Year at Greene

• Greene has held two successful dances where over 75% of the students participated, supported by Student Council. 
• Greene has held 3 successful concerts, where the success was illustrated by all of the smiles on faces of proud parents, teachers, and administrators.
• All 3 middle school choirs performed together, as a further example of collaboration and community.
• 136 Students participated in AMC 8 a 25 question, 40-minute multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills.
  • What is a good score on the AMC? In the most recent year, the average AMC-8 score was ten questions right out of 25.
    • Greene 8th-Grade Average Score: 13
    • Greene 7th-Grade Average Score: 11
    • Greene 6th-Grade Average Score: 10
• Greene Science Olympiad Placed 4th in the NorCal Regional Competition
  • Greene students earned 24 medals!
• Greene students took 10th in the 2022 Bird Science Olympiad Tournament consisting of 207 teams from 26 different states. 
  • Greene took 10th!
  • Greene students medaled in 17 out of the 30 events!
• Greene students are preparing for the National Technology Association (TSA) Competition
  • Currently 5 Greene teams rank in the top 25 nationally
  • 4 teams have earned invitations to compete in the National Championships in Dallas, Texas.
  • Greene currently have the #1 ranked team in the state!
    • Greene has won 1st place in California from 2017-2021. 
    • Greene was 3rd in the nation in 2017-18
    • Greene was 1st in the nation in 2018-19
    • Greene was 2nd in the nation in 2021-22
